PARKER REACTIVATES THE TITLES!

Jackel started us off on this night addressing his disgraceful actions in his win over La Tortuga Roja last week. Jackel explained he came from a rough background and Roja explained he could make the young man a legend. Jackel won everywhere he had been but once he came up against the stiff competition in GAW, the winning stopped. Jackel claimed Roja no longer knows the sport anymore and he will make Roja feel pain next time they meet.

Yamamoto took center stage in the first match against Kristin Sakamoto and she showed exactly why people are so high on her. She blitzed Kristin with a nearly unstoppable barrage of offense; elbow drop, discuss lariat and the young Japanese phenom wins. But she was met in the ring by Lazzara who was not keen on celebrating. The champ stared down her challenger before Yamamoto left the ring.

Jason Parker speaks from his office and he makes the huge announcement we were all waiting for: the GAW Academy Tag Team Championships are coming back! The commissioner announced the top two teams after several matches in the division will face off for the new belts and he told anyone listening to find themselves a teammate if they think they can win gold.

Out at the ring, the Woods Club make their entrance. After training in the Academy for several months, Seth and Lance Woods are ready to compete for the new Tag Team Titles. They’re met in the ring by the unlikely pairing of Andrew Wesley and Franky Omega, two guys who tore the house down the previous week on Dark. The two singles stars showed remarkable instant chemistry and they took down the 10 year veterans in short order with a Franky Omega Arm Collector.

But we weren’t done with news in the tag team ranks! The terrifying 13-time world tag team champions WAR announced they are coming to GAW and are immediate favorites for the new titles.

In the main event, Kurt Andrews battled Eddie Hernandez with both men heading into huge matches down the road. The match was as good as we all hoped but it turned out to be too short for all our tastes. Hernandez went up top for the Speakeasy but the Buccaneer had it scouted. Hernandez came crashing down to earth, Andrews made the cover and the #1 contender wins. Hernandez showed respect to his opponent after the match as we all expected.

Next week is a massive show! We have a huge announcement regarding all the big matches on tap, MidNight is back in action and the tag team legend Lieter returns to the fold with the young monster Dagonite by his side!
