ONE LAST SHOW
BEFORE SYDNEY

How else should we begin tonight’s show?? Eddie Hernandez addresses the GAW Academy faithful and talked about his relationship with Yun-Son Park ahead of their match at Stormchaser: Sydney. Hernandez confirmed he and Park have become friends since their battles during the Stormchaser tournament and they’re going to show the world what the GAW Academy is really all about.

We go from one match in Sydney between two friends to one that is quickly becoming more toxic as the weeks go on. Kurt Andrews will fight for the Academy Championship in Australia and he gets one more warmup match tonight against Stefford Drummond. Andrews dominated as we expected and put OSHA’s least favorite son away with the Eye of the Storm. Afterword, Andrews verbally attacked Garrett Gibson, claiming the Academy Championship means about as much around Gibson’s waist as Andrews’ normal belt means around his.

While this was happening, Kaitlyn Dunlap was, once again, attacking Katana. This has gone on for weeks and Dunlap has kept Katana out of action after the Japanese Sword upset Dunlap twice on Dark. Jason Parker addressed the situation later in the show, confirming Dunlap and Katana will face off in a steel cage in two weeks. No matter the winner, if Dunlap ever touches Katana again, she’ll be suspended.

Back in the ring, MidNight takes on former Academy champion Scott Danielson. MidNight has the best record in GAW and it showed as he steamrolled the former champ. MidNight finally pur him away with the Dream State, a modified dragon sleeper that just adds one more weapon to MidNight’s incredibly dangerous arsenal.

Academy Women’s Champion Lazzara had one last tune-up before her match in Sydney with rising star Yamamoto. Lazzara took on Suzuki and it was another simple affair. Before the match, however, we got a glimpse into Lazzara’s mentality now through an excerpt from an interview she did with PWI. In the interview, she said she was in a bad place mentally by the end of the Stormchaser tournament but after all the changes to GAW, she’s feeling better than she ever has. The champ put Thunderbolt away with Make My Fortune, sending a message to her Stormchaser: Sydney opponent.

We’ve arrived at our main event which features the two men who will main event Stormchaser: Sydney teaming together. But before we saw that, we had one more surprise waiting for us: talented rookie Max Ultimate made his Stormchaser debut as Tonga’s partner in the match after Overload’s suspension. Ultimate proved why so many believe he has a bright future as he went toe to toe against two of the icons of the GAW Academy and held his own. Also during the match, we hear from Academy Champion Garrett Gibson responding to Kurt Andrews. We saw more fire from the champ than ever before as he asserted Andrews would never know how to truly be a champion the way Gibson does. We’ll find out next week who’s right! The main event ended after 10 minutes of war after Tonga left the apron to fight Yun-Son Park on the outside while Hernadnez hit Ultimate with a Speakeasy for the 1-2-3.

Stormchaser: Sydney is going to be a massive event! Not only will we see the two title matches plus Park vs. Hernandez One Last Time (which we now know will be a two out of three falls match), but we also know we’ll see La Tortuga Roja vs. Jackel no DQ after their brutal feud AND MidNight has a big announcement to make! We’ll see you Monday March 15 for the biggest event in the history of Stormchaser!
