TEAM KICK IS MISSING!

As Bash at the Beach approaches, the return of a legend has Team Kick spooked. The two champions have not been seen since last week, will they show up today?

But we begin the show with World Champion Aleister Black. After being beaten unconscious by Matt Riddle last week, the champ was typically reserved in his comments. Black warned Riddle that he wants the challenger at his best next week and that Riddle’s decision to attack Black means the champ has already won.

Our first match sees a legend return! The first ever US Champion Ronda Rousey shocked the world by coming back last week to face down both members of Team Kick and has apparently scared them off entirely. Today, she faces Charlotte Flair in her first match in six months. It was a great match, with Flair understanding the stakes as well as Rousey. Ultimately, Rousey did what she so often does and outsmarted her opponent, catching Flair in a small package during an attempted exploder suplex and getting the pinfall. Still no sign of Team Kick…

Backstage, Conor McGregor addresses one of the most pressing questions: why is Ricochet still the #1 contender for the Intercontinental Championship after suffering several losses? The Champ-Champ explained he and Lashley have the contract for the match and they want an easy pay day against an easy opponent. And of course, McGregor took the opportunity to take a pot shot at CM Punk as well.

Our second match saw the Tag Team Champions sending a message to the hottest team in the world. The Usos took on their former title rivals GoD, the same team TMDK beat a few weeks ago. Jey Uso ultimately tapped out Tama Tonga with the Tequila Sunrise but the action didn’t end there. TMDK hit the ring to beat down the champions and it marked the first time the arrogant Australians have put their hands on the champions.

Our main event saw a #1 contenders match for Tegan Nox’s US Championship. Bianca Belair battled LAX’s Rosita in a rematch from a few weeks ago when Rosita cheated to beat Belair. This time, Belair knew she had to take Rosita out quick before Hernandez could get involved and that’s exactly what she did. Belair hit the KOD less than three minutes in but it wasn’t quite enough. Rosita tried to get the offense back but Belair turned it around into an electric chair drop for the victory. Bianca Belair is the #1 contender for the US Title; still no sign of Team Kick…

Next week Bobby Lashley is in action, Bandido of LAX battles Sin Cara and we get Aleister Black vs. Matt Riddle with the World Title on the line!
