A SERIES AND A
NEW CHALLENGER!

We begin with a three way dance, a new favorite of Commissioner Jason Parker, featuring Derrick Cole, Ramon Gutierrez and Igris. The match was fast and furious as expected given the men involved. Igris was the first to exit after Gutierrez hit the Derota. Cole followed that up with a Cole Cut on Gutierrez but of course it couldn’t just be that simple. Ulysses Sky came out to take Cole’s attention away from the match. While Cole had his back turned, Gutierrez made the smart play and rolled him up. But Cole was too crafty, kicking out and hitting the Heisman Kick for the win. After the match, Cole challenged Sky, saying the only way to beat him was for Sky to challenge him. Later on, we would find out Jason Parker has made a best of seven series between the two beginning next week!

Andrew Wesley and Franky Omega have made the final step in their transformation into a truly dangerous tag team: they now officially have a name. The Wing Collectors as they are now called took on Woods Club and the two have never looked better. Just a couple minutes in, they hit their new double team finishing move the Crows and Angels for the win.

Backstage, we get a look at Lazzara coaching Sophia Sweetness, another example of those two becoming close after their match a few weeks ago. Lazzara arranged for Sweetness to face Suzuki in a rematch from 10 days ago on Dark. This time, Sweetness seemed prepared for the Thunderbolt, using her athleticism to get the upper hand. She laid in kick after kick in the corner and stood on the throat of the third generation mixed martial artist to get her first win in GAW. Clearly the mentorship of the former Academy champion is paying off.

Backstage, La Tortuga Roja responds to Jackel from last week. Roja says the mask in the Lucha tradition represents honor and Jackel, in his words, is one of the least honorable men in wrestling. Roja says Jackel doesn’t deserve a mask, he’s a child.

Our main event sees Flyboy take on Vick Cassidy, half of WAR. While Cassidy has never had a singles match in GAW, it’s the lack of scouting around the underground legend that makes him so dangerous. Flyboy couldn’t get anything going and, after missing a Flyboy Bomb, got locked in the dangerous bear hug submission. Cassidy tried to embarrass Flyboy by pinning him with the hold but the Australian managed to kick out. After an ugly fall from Flyboy when Cassidy chopped him down from the top rope, the Australian was able to climb to the top rope to hit the Flyboy Bomb and win. Will Flyboy be the next challenger to Kurt Andrews’ Academy Championship??

Next week, MidNight will defend his RAW Title against Isaiah Hannibal of WAR plus Ballesca Pierce is back in action against Kristin Sakamoto!
