GO HOME SHOW!
Our last show before America the Beautiful 2 begins in the locker room as Andrew Wesley and Franky Omega of the Wing Collectors talk strategy for their championship match with the Titans next week. As dangerous as the Titans Rules are, the Wing Collectors are absolutely prepared.
Back in the ring, our first match is a five-man battle royal to determine MidNight’s opponent at America the Beautiful 2. MidNight told us he wanted to add names to the legacy of one of the Underground’s proudest championships and he didn’t care who he had to beat to do it. Out of this five man field, it will be Seth Woods who challenges the champ. Though the two have fought before, they’ve never gone one on one. Can Seth Woods end MidNight’s dominant run?
Next up, Xavier Cross battles Mexican Shia. Early on, Cross looks dominant. He looked poised to lock in the Cronwalled Hawk Slayer but Shia stopped it just in time. But while Shia looked to finish off the rookie, Lancelot hit the ring. With the ref’s back turned, Lancelot dropped Shia with an EMP for Cross to pick up the win. Lancelot ran down Shia afterword, chastising him for allowing Lancelot to distract him. Jason Parker announced these two will be fighting in a falls count anywhere match at America the Beautiful 2.
Sophia Sweetness rematches Martina Del Sol and Sweetness continues her ascent with the help of Lazzara. While Del Sol tested the young rookie, Lazzara’s help means Sophia is far more prepared for this kind of test. Sweetness secured her third straight win with the Sweet Shot.
We were then presented with a bizarre video from Oliver Parker. While it’s incredibly difficult to piece together what he really means, it seems clear Parker and Lee Carr are not done.
Our main event sees Omega Woods take on Igris. Igris was undoubtedly fired up about this opportunity and he came out white hot. But Omega Woods showed just how dangerous he is. Just as Igris got him up onto his shoulders for the Reaper’s Embrace, Omega Woods slipped out and hit the Gun Slinger for the win.
But we were not done.
Yun-Son Park hit the ring to get in Omega’s face. The two didn’t speak or exchange blows, they just stared, hatred clearly burning in their eyes. But just as it seemed we were done for the night, Jackel and La Tortuga Roja spilled out onto the stage after a long brawl backstage. Roja set up a ladder and both men made the climb. In a shocking moment, Roja pulled Jackel up over his head and both plummeted to the hard ground. Jason Parker ran out just after this shocking scene and made an equally shocking announcement: the main event of America the Beautiful 2 will be Jackel vs. La Tortuga Roja mask vs. mask for the first time ever in GAW.
America the Beautiful 2 goes down next week, July 5.
