OF DRAGONS
AND DEATH DRIVERS

As insane as Northern Lights was in the Academy, Storm saw a complete shakeup during the event. Brock Lesnar shocked the world by debuting in the Challenger Briefcase ladder match and then activating the briefcase against Aleister Black to become World Champion. Lesnar was back and he made his debut on Storm as he made his debut at Northern Lights: by attacking Kofi Kingston. After a vicious attack before Kofi’s match, Brock Lesnar invited his old friend Paul Heyman to the ring. Heyman warned the whole roster this was a new Brock Lesnar, one that would take on all challengers. One who was more dangerous than any we’ve ever seen. Only time will tell if that warning is true.

Matt Riddle stepped up to take Kofi Kingston’s place in the first match of the night against PAC. The Bastard is angry at the best of times and getting a new opponent with mere seconds of notice did nothing to improve his mood. Riddle started off white hot but PAC survived the early onslaught. On his second attempt, PAC locked on the Brutalizer and forced the tap out.

In our next match, Ember Moon tries to bounce back after a disappointing performance against World Champ Dakota Kai. Jessamyn Duke continues her road back from injury and she put up a fight against the newest member of the roster. Moon proved to be too much, though, avoiding Duke’s devastating roundhouse and hitting the Eclipse to win.

Backstage, Dakota Kai chews out Ronda Rousey for getting involved on the Storm before Northern Lights. In the words of the champ, she “owns” Rousey and she promised to deliver some kind of punishment next week.

War Machine, at one time, were the most dangerous team in the world and were GAW Tag Team Champions for almost a year. Now, they promise, they’re back to their old form and TMDK is first on their list.

We go to the main event as Hanson of War Machine took on Shane Thorne of TMDK. The match was a hard-fought battle that featured both men surviving offense that would have doomed lesser men. But after 10 minutes, we were still without a winner. Our first main event after Northern Lights ended in a draw but the fight was not over after the bell. Both teams continued the brawl and it’s clear things are not over between these four men.
