THE ACADEMY CHANGES EVERY DAY
Stormchaser: Liverpool was one of the biggest events in GAW history but how does the Academy bounce back? We begin with special footage found of a behind-closed-doors conversation between the Wing Collectors and Commissioner Jason Parker. Andrew Wesley requests a rematch with the Las Vegas Connection with the Titans barred from the building to prove who really is the top contender to the tag titles. Jason Parker agrees.
In the ring, Kurt Andrews thanks the fans for their support in his match with Lancelot and promises he is better than ever.
Our first match sees Xavier Cross take on a new member of the Las Vegas Connection. The group continues to grow and now they’ve brought in their most terrifying enforcer: Marco Diaz’s brother Angelo. Cross is good but he was not prepared for the massive Angelo Diaz who hit him with a superkick/straight jacket German combination for the win.
Backstage, Derrick Cole talks with Shawn Alexander and Jacob Ace of Pretty Bad Deal. He says he’s talked Jason Parker into giving them a 2-on-1 match with MidNight on Dark which the RAW Champion accepted. Elsewhere, Santanico delivers a chilling threat to Ulysses Sky.
Joshua Moore looks for his first GAW win against Seth Woods. Woods powered through the Second City Wrestling product but Moore had more in the tank than we’ve seen before. He survived Woods’ assault and hit a hellacious flipping lariat for his first win in General Admission Wrestling.
Backstage, Ballesca Pierce and Lazzara respond to Kaitlyn Dunlap’s challenge from last week. Pierce doesn’t seem intimidated but she does understand the threat Dunlap poses while Lazzara asks to face Dunlap herself next week.
Our main event is upon us as Yun-Son Park returns to action against Max Ultimate. The young rookie has always idolized Park but he still put up a fierce fight against the legend. At the end of the day, however, Park was too athletic and too quick, hitting a picture-perfect springboard moonsault for the win.
But Park’s night got far worse very quickly. Sam Hunt showed up in the ring and beat the legend half to death. Hunt finally hit the devastating Thrill of the Hunt which may have broken Park’s neck. Officials summoned a stretcher to bring Park out of the building but Hunt wasn’t content to leave it there. He chased down the stretcher and brutalized Park again, leaving one of the Academy’s greatest wrestlers in a heap to end the show.
