WHAT WILL THE WING COLLECTORS DO NEXT?
On our final show before Winterfest we get multiple massive announcements about the big event! The Titans began the show in the ring claiming the Wing Collectors are not deserving Tag Team Champions. Island Nation came out to confront the former champs, saying they never earned any respect from the locker room and get to the back of the line. Lieter made a thinly-veiled threat in relation to Island Nation’s match later and things would escalate after that match.
Before that, however, our first match sees Sam Hunt in action against Seth Woods. Hunt clearly doesn’t get paid by the hour as he dropped Woods onto his head with the Thrill of the Hunt in two minutes. After the decision, Hunt dropped Woods again, this time with the 10/31. Yun-Son Park better know what he’s getting into at Winterfest.
Backstage, Derrick Cole insults RAW Champion MidNight some more and promises to deliver the RAW Title back to the “true Underground.” Jason Parker made that match official at Winterfest.
Island Nation takes on WAR in an impossibly short match which saw the rookie team dominating the experience underground champions. Kobayashi dropped Vick Cassidy with the Graveyard Shift to win. After the match, the Titans meant to make good on their threat from earlier as they came down to the ring. However, new champions Wing Collectors jumped the barricade and got in between the Titans and Island Nation. After a couple tense moments, Jason Parker announced a three way dance between the three teams at Winterfest.
By her own request, Ballesca Pierce got a match against Sophia Sweetness. Sweetness put up a fight but the champion came in with something to prove, beating Sweetness with Kaitlyn Dunlap’s finishing move the DDG. After the match, Jason Parker made both Ulysses Sky vs Santanico and Kaitlyn Dunlap vs Ballesca Pierce official for Winterfest.
In the main event, Lancelot took on Lars Nightfall for the right to face Kurt Andrews at Winterfest. Conspicuous by his absence was the champion who obviously wants to wait for the match itself to prove his metal. Lancelot gameplanned well against Nightfall, using the big man’s strength against him. Lancelot wrestled Nightfall down after the giant came running in, locking him in King Arthur’s Blessing and choking him out. Lancelot will get his rematch with Andrews at Winterfest.
GAW’s biggest holiday party begins on November 15, make sure you subscribe so you can watch the whole event go down!
