HOW WILL DANGER
FAIR IN GAW?

Halfway through the biggest holiday party of the year we get our first taste of superstardom… but we begin with GAW’s most prolific champion ever. Rey Mysterio finally gets his hands on Hernandez as the collapse of the Latin American Exchange finally comes to an end. The two exchanged vicious words before hitting the ring but it was a one-sided affair when they got there. Hernandez had no answer for the eight-time cruiserweight champ and Triple Crown winner. Mysterio dialed up the 619 followed by a frog splash to a massive ovation for the win.

Backstage, Paul Heyman confirms his goal is to make GAW “[his] territory” and Shayna Baszler is part of his grand plan which, he assures us, is not over yet.

Ballesca Pierce looks to become the most decorated Academy Women’s champion in recorded history by defending her title against Kaitlyn Dunlap. The Goddess started out on top and looked every bit the world-class wrestler she claims to be. But Ballesca weathered the storm and hit a beautiful cartwheel moonsault press to pick up the win.

The main event saw Chris Danger make his GAW debut against the face of the Academy Eddie Hernandez in a no holds barred match. The match deserves a watch if you haven’t seen it yet as it’s some of the most over-the-top action we’ve seen this season. Danger was the first to introduce weapons to the match but Danger made the biggest splash, driving Danger through a table on the outside with a knee drop from a ladder in the ring. After a Driveby on some more shots it seemed like Hernandez had Danger dead to rights but Danger fought back, dropping Eddie with a super kick. Back in the ring, Hernandez once again dropped the knees onto Danger from the top of a ladder and went to the top rope for his classic Speakeasy. But Danger got the knees up. The YouTube superstar went low, hitting Hernandez with a vicious low blow before breaking out As Above So Below. Danger pinned Hernandez by doing a pushup on his chest. Danger wins his debut in one of the most violent matches we’ve seen this season.

Night 4 goes down Friday December 17 as a special Premier event and sees three title matches including Rousey vs Kai career vs title!
