WESTSIDE XTREME TAKES OVER STORM

What better way to kick off Season 3 of Storm than with the former Intercontinental Champion and one of the best wrestlers of Season 2. Bandido battled PAC in a fight between two of the best athletes in GAW and it did not disappoint. Bandido even survived a Brutalizer attempt before hitting PAC with a gorgeous flipping fallaway slam for the win.

Former Tag Team Champions War Machine step into the ring to take on another former champion in the Lucha Brothers. There must have been some bad blood between the two because the fight was on between all four men in and out of the ring. But it was War Machine who finally opened the door by knocking Rey Fenix out of the ring, leaving them alone with Penta. The two took a page from the current champions’ playbook and put the luchador away with an assisted neckbreaker.

Backstage, Keith Lee thanked all the fans who helped him overcome the seemingly unstoppable Brock Lesnar at Nitro. Lee, humble as ever, conceded that he may not be able to chase the records set by Lesnar but that he aimed to bring even more prestige to the World Title.

New US Champion Ember Moon, complete with a new look and music, took on Bianca Belair and she has not lost a step. Moon defeated the former champ with the devastating Eclipse. During the match, we learned Ember Moon’s next challenger will make an appearance next week.

Backstage, Shayna Baszler disparaged the US Title, a championship she held going into Nitro 11, claiming she was on to bigger and better things. But she was confronted by new World Champion Kacy Catanzaro who told Shayna her arrogance would never win her the World Title. Baszler disagreed and attacked the champ.

It’s time to make history in the main event! For the first time ever, the Westside Xtreme Wrestling Unified Title is up for grabs on a GAW show. Champion Tristan Archer makes his first defense of the title against renowned Scottish powerhouse Drew McIntyre. The match was truly special, a European masterclass unlike anything we’ve seen in GAW. After both men survived big time moves from the other, McIntyre turned the tables by using Archer’s own gutwrench suplex against him to win the title. McIntyre became the first man ever to win another promotion’s title on a GAW show.
