INFLUENCERS ARE TAKING OVER

Right as the show begins, the trademark switchblade hits the floor and Jay White makes his entrance for the first time in Season 3. He joins IWGP Jr Heavyweight Champion Taiji Ishimori in the ring and they challenge both Bandido and Keith Lee. White wants the GAW World Title after several unsuccessful attempts in the last two season and he may be more dangerous now than he’s ever been.

Backstage, Chris Danger introduces his hand-picked opponent for Consequences Creed and it’s one of the biggest stars in the wrestling community; none other than Brandon Collins. The Spartan makes his GAW debut against Creed in what is quickly becoming one of the most insane rivalries in GAW history. But Creed, as he so often is, was ready for the challenge. He survived This is Sparta and even a viscous DDT from Collins to hit the CreeDT and get the win.

Creed was straight out of the ring after the match, he didn’t give Danger or Collins any chance for an attack. This left the ring empty for Intercontinental Champion Chris Sabin to come down and address his upcoming match with James Storm at Bash. Storm was soon out and the two agreed, as much as they respect each other, a GAW championship is more important. But Storm had one more surprise for Sabin: one last match before they lock horns against another legend of their old promotion. It’s Wildcat Chris Harris and that match will go down next week!

Up next, another massive debut as indie darling Shotzi Blackheart comes out to face US Champion Ember Moon. Moon has never shied away from any opponent but, this time, it came back to bite her as Blackheart pulled off the massive upset and beat the champ. As is GAW tradition, Blackheart will get a title match against Moon but, in yet another twist, Bianca Belair came out to challenge the champ as well, leaving us with many questions and lots of tantalizing matchups.

Backstage, Damian Martinez and Gifted Punishment continue their path to facing War Machine by warning the champs their road to becoming three-time champs is not unique and they are not as far ahead of every other team as they claim. But, as we’ve come to expect, War Machine have no time for words, attacking their next challengers and putting QT Marshall through a table.

Drew McIntyre is back and facing yet another new face in GAW, Charlie Haas. Gable Steveson was on commentary as well and was very complimentary of McIntyre’s abilities and ruthlessness. And the wXw champ showed Steveson was right to admire him as he ran through Haas, forcing him to tap out with a Regal Stretch. But after the match, McIntyre made it clear the respect was not mutual as he Claymored Steveson into next week.

In the main event, Shayna Baszler takes on Toni Storm as Baszler continues her road to rematch with World Champion Kacy Catanzaro. Baszler was absolutely dominant in her match with the Aussie superstar, forcing Storm to tap out and solidifying Baszler’s stature as the #1 contender.
