THE INAUGURAL RAW CHAMPION IS BACK

In the first Evolution after Bash at the Beach, things around GAW seem even more in flux. But one thing we know for sure is tag champs Hernandez and Park will never shy away from competition. They began the show by taking on the always dangerous Aussies Don’t Kneel. However, it was the champs’ trademark teamwork and speed that made the difference as they made short work of Flyboy and Shane Thorne.

After the match, former Apex Champion Garrett Gibson came out, as many had been anticipating, to announce his rules for the first fall of the Three Strikes Match in two weeks. Gibson announced he would be picking an Underground match, a fight where pinfall, submission and knockout anywhere in the arena would be legal. We’ll be waiting for Lancelot’s response.

Max Ultimate and Xavier Cross locked up in a battle of two future stars. Ultimate, despite spending much of his season so far teaming with Ramon Gutierrez, showed he hasn’t lost a step as a solo act. His trademark springboard kick connected right on the button with Cross and won the match for Ultimate.

Igris is clearly not happy about how the Rumble on the Beach ended and issued a general warning to everyone else on Evolution that “Gore is coming.”

We then got to hear from Derrick Cole who is apparently done with TJ Frost and is ready to take Frost out for good.

In the main event, the first ever GAW RAW Champion MidNight returns for his first match of Season 3 against Ulysses Sky. The two have some history and MidNight has a lot of motivation to make a statement in his return. And he certainly did that, soaking up Sky’s relentless pressure and melting him with a Yankee Destroyer. He made it famous across his incredibly first season in GAW and it’s as dangerous as ever, the Sleepwalker ended Sky’s night and ended our first episode back.
