A LEGEND HELPS RECLAIM A TITLE

Before anyone hits the ring, Oliver Parker delivers a chilling message to Max Ultimate. Parker promised the young man pain but would say nothing else.

The first match sees Yamamoto and Kenny Omega take on Kaitlyn Dunlap in a revenge bout. Dunlap stole Moto’s title at Battle at Broadway; Kenny Omega came to Moto to help her right the ship, now we see if that pays off. Moto was clearly more developed in her attack than she’s been in GAW, she is far more polished and has added more variety to her game than we’ve seen before. All of this was too much for Kaitlyn Dunlap who just couldn’t handle Moto’s furious comeback even after Dunlap had controlled much of the match. Moto mashed her with a tombstone piledriver then knocked her out cold with a Rainmaker to win the match and reclaim the Rise Title.

Garrett Gibson requested a special match against rookie standout Adonis Carter. Carter was one of the most talented men in the Rookie of the Year tournament but his quest to the title was cut short by an upset loss in the quarterfinals. Carter came back looking to pull the massive upset against the former champ… unfortunately for him, Gibson is fighting too well right now for that to happen. Carter took to the skies like he so often does, he even hit Gibson with a Chicago Masterclass. But Gibson survived and nearly beheaded the rook with an All American Clothesline.

Backstage, Igris called out Yun-Son Park to a match. The RD7 leader claimed he was being passed over for opportunities he had earned and the only way to rectify that was to defeat the man he called the “face of GAW.”

Andrew Wesley returned to the ring against Lars Nightfall as Wesley continues to try to prove he is sorry for his actions last season. Nightfall was taking no sympathy on Wesley, of course, but the former tag team champion proved he’s just as formidable in a singles contest as he was teaming with Franky Omega. Wesley picked up the win with a mind-bending butterfly drop to stun the audience, some of whom seem to be coming around to his side. After the match Jason Parker announced Wesley will take on Garrett Gibson in a #1 contenders match next week.

In the main event, Omega Woods defended his RAW Title against Chandler Marcy who he called out last week. Marcy fought hard as Woods knew he would but Woods proved why he’s the best Underground wrestler in the world. Marcy went in for a Marcy bomb after incredible avalanche powerbomb that nearly ended the match, but Woods slipped out and nailed the challenger with a Gunslinger to end proceedings. But after the match, Woods was confronted by an old foe… the lights went out and, when they came back on, Santanico stood across from the champ. Much like we saw on Storm, the two did not exchange words, but steely glares confirmed the two will lock horns again over the RAW Title.
