two titles and a goliath upset

It’s been happening for weeks. Eddie Hernandez and Dagonite have been at each other’s throats, the violence has swept across every arena they’ve been in. Finally, Jason Parker has had enough. The commissioner stepped in while the two were fighting again and suspended Eddie Hernandez immediately. He told Dagonite the big man would have a match against Lars Nightfall.

In the first match of the night, Isis returns to action against Katherine Sakamoto. It’s been an up and down season for both women but it was Isis who was able to turn things around today. The Underground standout won with a Rainmaker, a leftover from when she was challenging Yamamoto for the Rise Title. After the match, Isis didn’t mince words, challenging Lazzara to a match at Nitro.

Backstage, Mr. Sinister finds Apex Champion Igris to ask for help. Specifically, Sinister asked the champ to take a look at film of the rookie Abbadon and offer his opinion. Igris agreed.

Queen Alexia continues her road to Nitro by destroying Kaitlyn Dunlap. Alexia’s athleticism and power were too much for even the former champ to deal with an Alexia got the pin with a Queen’s Crown.

Max Ultimate has been unbelievably good the last few weeks but could this be the biggest win of his career? It seemed that Lars Nightfall was just trying to tune up his skills with a match against the much smaller man before he takes on Dagonite next episode. Instead, Max Ultimate stole the moment and made it his own. He survived a Nightfall Nightmare, somehow hit the big man with a Max Damage and finished him off with a spectacular 630.

Omega Woods continues his reign as RAW Champion against another Underground legend in Braddock. Woods seems to be getting better every match he fights and he continued his improvement here. Braddock, though he was able to avoid several Gunslinger attempts, succumbed to an Omega Woods elbow to the throat as Woods adds another defense to his tremendous record.

Backstage, Challenger Briefcase holder Jackel promised to take the briefcase to Nitro and activate it to get an Apex Title shot.

In the main event, Igris defends the Apex Title for the first time against the first RAW Champ MidNight. The match was incredibly emotionally charged which led to it being sloppy at times. But Igris proved once again he is the smartest man in Evolution, stealing MidNight’s Dream State submission to force a pinfall and defend the title.
