The Final Episode of Season 3

Commissioner Jason Parker opens up the last Evolution before Nitro with a major announcement: both Max Ultimate and Ramon Gutierrez will challenge Igris for the Apex Title at Nitro 12. It will be a one-fall three-way match at the biggest show of the year. This news didn’t please everyone, of course; Challenger Briefcase holder Jackel interrupted and promised carnage if Parker didn’t rescind the announcement and put him in that match. Parker did not back down leaving us with major questions heading into Nitro.

It’s a rookie showcase in the first match of the night as Rookie of the Year winner Takahashi takes on blue-chipper Adonis Carter. Takahashi will be challenging for the RAW Title at Nitro and he showed, in this match, why he’s so highly touted. Carter put up a tremendous fight as we expected but he, as everyone before him has, succumbed to the spinning heel kick for the Takahashi win.

We now know the rules for the HTO vs LVC match at Nitro. It will be GAW’s first ever Evolved Gauntlet where every member of the teams will fight in one on one matches until there is one team left standing.

More rookies take center stage as Franky Omega Jr. tunes up against Chris Alexa. We know the Little Dragon is more aggressive than ever so Franky Jr. has to match that level. He did by breaking Alexa’s arm with the Arm Collector before pinning him to win.

Nathan Rotunda steamrolled two local products as Jon Gotti laughed on. That is the physical ability and attitude of the team Island Nation must face with the Tag Team Titles on the line.

In the main event, Ultimate Flight teams up one last time to take on Rey Mysterio and his son Dominick Mysterio in a dream match. The two second-year men hit an adrenaline-spike as they approach the Nitro stage and they used it here. They combined to defeat the Mysterio’s with classic double-team offense and send themselves into the Nitro center stage with all the momentum.
