PUNK AND PARKER BATTLE ADVERSITY

Conor McGregor kicked CM Punk out of the Mob after just one night of service and the two have beaten each other bloody for months. Finally it’s time to crown a real winner in the first ever Irish Street Fight. The fight was as brutal as we all expected with chairs, barricades and baseball bats all being used to inflict pain. McGregor escaped the GTS several times and hit the Proper 12 Sendoff- but that wasn’t the end of things. Punk kicked out, forcing McGregor to change his plan. After more vicious battling resulting in blood pouring out of the face of both men, McGregor powerbombed Punk on the concrete floor. It’s one of the sickest moves we’ve seen during Bash and it was enough to give McGregor the win.

Kurt Andrews defended his Academy Title against Oliver Parker, the man who always believed it was his destiny to become a GAW champion. It was a fairly slow start as both men went through the feeling out process but the pace ramped up quickly. After a back and forth affair, Parker got the upper hand with a Trueborn to the champion. Parker surely thought this was the end but Andrews wasn’t to be defeated that easily; the champ kicked out of the Trueborn as he has done before. But as Parker prepared for the killshot, he heard an all too familiar song. Lee Carr’s music thundered through the building, but there was no Lee Carr. As Parker prepared to fight off the man he put in the hospital a month ago, Carr had other plans. He snuck into the ring behind Parker and as the challenger turned, Carr blasted him with a Green Out, leaving both Parker and Andrews down in the ring. Andrews was the first to his feet and, after he noticed Parker on the ground, hoisted him up, hit the Eye of the Storm and got the three count. While the story out of night 4 is Kurt Andrews retained his Academy Title, there are now major question to ask about where Carr and Parker go from here. What could Oliver Parker have in store for the man who cost him a title he felt he was destined to win??
