The story of the main event was Lazzara potentially refusing to tag in Yamamoto, the woman who challenged for Lazzara’s Academy title at Stormchaser: Sydney. Prior to the main event, Dakota Kai attacked her new #1 contender after Jessamyn Duke beat Marina Shafir; Kai will defend her title on Friday Night Storm.

Performance of the night goes to Stefford Drummond who dominated Jackel for eight minutes. While Jackel seems to be struggling mentally after his shocking upset loss in Sydney, Drummond gave him more to think about with a tremendous performance for his first singles win of the season.
