JON GOTTI MAKES AN OFFER

Last week was absolute chaos all around GAW, will things calm down this week? Not for Chandler Marcy they won’t as the former college football standout takes on second-year star Igris. Marcy is as fast and powerful as ever; unfortunately, Igris used this against him as he so often does. Marcy overextended himself and he springboarded straight into a powerbomb and a loss.

Backstage, Derrick Cole is formulating a plan to deal with TJ Frost with his LVC partner Marco Diaz. Cole wants eyes on Frost at all times and doesn’t want him to get anywhere near the champ before their match in two weeks.

Lazzara returns to the fold for the first time since losing the Rise Title at Bash against Kristin Sakamoto. Before the match, Lazzara made it clear she still believes she should be in the conversation for the title and, to her credit, she proved she still has what it takes against the dangerous Sakamoto. Lazzara finished her off with a high-angle chokeslam as she continues to distance herself from the Make My Fortune.

Backstage, Garrett Gibson is worried Lancelot may not show for the Three Strikes Match next week but Commissioner Jason Parker reassured the former champ that Lancelot would never miss that match.

Elsewhere, it finally happened… Jon Gotti officially offered Chandler Marcy a spot in the Gotti Crime Family. Marcy was, at first, hesitant as his below-.500 record made him doubt Gotti really saw as much potential as he claimed. But Gotti persuaded him the GCF believes in his potential and Marcy accepted. The second-year man becomes the first addition to Jon Gotti’s organization since they debuted.

In the main event, new Rise Champion Yamamoto fights in her first match as champ against the rookie Victoria making her GAW debut. This match could have been tricky for Moto but she’s a pro’s pro and she handled everything Victoria had. The rookie went for a springboard but that was a death sentence against the champ. Moto cut her down with a discuss lariat before ending the contest with a Rainmaker.

After the match, though, Lancelot had his final word. He announced, by way of an intimidating video package, that his Strike rules would be a Last Man Standing match where neither competitor was allowed to leave the ring. The first ever Three Strikes Match goes down next week!
