A Friendship Repaired

After we hear from Omega Woods who accepted Santanico’s implied challenge from last week, we begin the show with the Cole brothers’ first match as a team. Known as Trained to Go, they’ve dominated the Underground scene and Derrick Cole has been a sensation in GAW; but now they go up against fierce rivals Pretty Bad Deal. We expected TTG to bring fiery spirit to the match and they overdelivered in that respect. PBD couldn’t compete with the experience and athleticism the Coles brought and TTG grabbed the win after a Heisman Kick. Right after the match, though, the Las Vegas Connection got their shots in. TJ Frost attacked Derrick while Marco Diaz took out Eric with a shovel. Things will not end between these groups anytime soon.

Evolution sends its first representative to the Challenger Briefcase Ladder Match but will it be Jackel or Xavier Cross? The two young guns stepped into Evolution’s first qualifier and they were very evenly matched, albeit in different aspects. Jackel grabbed the win, though, using an exception combination of lucha moves to out-speed Cross.

Underground legend Isis makes her singles debut against Katherine Sakamoto and its clear Isis is ready to take on Moto. She dominated the former champ and put her away in under three minutes. New Rise champ Moto may be next.

In the main event, Andrew Wesley takes on Garrett Gibson for the right to face Apex Champ Kurt Andrews next week. It was an even match as we can expect given their pedigree, but Gibson’s strength was too much even for Wesley. Gibson nearly took the former tag champ’s head off with an All American Clothesline to win. But the real story may well have been the aftermath. Franky Omega returned to embrace Wesley and it seems as though the famed Wing Collectors are back together.
