THE WING COLLECTORS ARE FINALLY DONE

Braddock kicks off one of the most solemn shows of the season with a match against the rookie Wolf Stormsong. Even though everyone in the building knew what would be coming, these two were working their hardest. Unfortunately for Stormsong, his style did not help him against the Underground legend. Braddock controlled the pace like the veteran he is and Stormsong just couldn’t keep up. It was one of the more one-sided matches we’ve seen this season with Braddock finishing on top.

Backstage, Dwayne Evans and Aaron Cruise jumped Derrick Cole and clearly have bad intentions. Thankfully, Eric Cole was around and was able to ward off the two members of LVC as that rivalry grows in intensity every day.

Elsewhere, Jon Gotti approaches the Demon Wolves and informs them that Jason has ordered a Tag Team Title match in two weeks. If they retain, Gotti will renew their contracts with the family. If they do not, however, they will not be allowed back in. In the locker room, Max Ultimate and Ramon Gutierrez discuss their strategy for the end of the season following Ultimate’s stunning win over Kurt Andrews last week. Both men agree to leave everything in the ring and make the end of this season the best stretch of their careers.

In service of that goal, Ramon Gutierrez came out to take on Lee Carr. The Ultimate Cinderella is tough to beat on any day but he seemed even more motivated in this contest. That didn’t seem to matter for Ramon, however. Gutierrez, following Ultimate’s incredible win last week, pulled off the biggest win of his young career as he defeated Lee Carr with a vicious handspring kick.

Backstage, Eddie Hernandez has found Jason Parker and demands a rematch with Igris who, according to Hernandez, dishonored the Apex Title and should not be allowed to get away scot-free. Unfortunately, before Parker could answer, Dagonite came up behind Hernandez and brutally beat the former champion.

It’s finally time for the main event: an Underground match between the former members of the Wing Collectors. As a team, they delighted fans with their incredible double team sense and drive to improve. But we’re a year removed from when the Wing Collectors ruled the roost. Now Andrew Wesley and Franky Omega are at each others’ throats in a supremely violent match you have to see to believe. The whole match is worth checking out but know, by the end, it’s amazing either man was still standing. Wesley ended up hitting a cutter from the top of a ladder that left both men crumpled. But he wasn’t done. He picked Franky up to his feet where Omega proceeded to spit in Wesley’s face. This enraged the former NOAH standout who hit Franky with two Redemptions to finally win the emotional fight.
