CODY RHODES CALLS OUT THE EVIL MAN!

After an insane Bash at the Beach event, Conor McGregor and Bobby Lashley opened tonight’s episode of Storm. McGregor bragged that he had ended CM Punk in GAW and Bobby Lashley had become the best Intercontinental Champion in the last three years. Lashley promised to rip Bandido in half when Bandido challenges for the IC title and it seems like McGregor’s promise from last year that the Mob will run GAW is beginning to come true.

Our first match saw Charlotte Flair battle former US Champion Tegan Nox. While it seemed clear Nox would build back to challenging Bianca Belair, Charlotte Flair had other plans. The Queen dropped the former champ with a Natural Selection to win. After the match, however, neither Flair nor Nox was the lasting story. A backstage camera captured a picture of Kai apparently attacking Ronda Rousey. Suspiciously, Kai’s car left the arena just minutes afterword.

Speaking of Bash at the Beach matchups, TMDK has their eyes set once again on tag team champions Usos. They proved they were still at the top of the tag team game by destroying British Strong Style. Later in the show, the arrogant Australians confirmed their desire to challenge the Usos once again.

Up next was a video from WALTER you have to see to believe. The Ring General claimed he savagely attacked a referee at Bash because he believed the referee was determined to screw him out of a title. Go watch the video if you want to see some of the most blatant excuses for disgusting behavior you’ll ever come across.

However, for all his deficiencies as a sportsman, WALTER proved he is still one of the hardest men around. The three time Intercontinental Champion massacred Sin Cara, proving he is still on a championship level.

Cody Rhodes responded to the excuses of WALTER, saying he works with referees every day and he will not allow WALTER to take another man’s career for granted.

Our main event featured Jay White taking on a mystery opponent. This time last year, White was fighting for the World Championship. Now the Switchblade hopes to return to that level; but he was not prepared for the man he saw tonight. Former ROH and NXT standout Damian Martinez made his GAW debut, his intimidating stature and entrance sending shivers down the Providence crowd’s backs. Martinez whooped Jay White for much of the match despite being thrown spine-first into an exposed turnbuckle. The big man hit a big boot to drop White and seemed to have the match one. But White had an insurance plan. His new tag team partner Drew McIntyre quickly got involved, running out to drop Martinez with a Claymore and get the match thrown out. The two men beat up the debutant, hitting him with another Claymore on the floor and hopefully there will be consequences for the actions of both men.

Next week on Storm, Cody Rhodes will return to the ring to try to back up his claims about WALTER!
