CAN JOHNNY WRESTLING DO THE IMPOSSIBLE??

Drew McIntyre kicks off the final show before Winterfest with one last match against WALTER’s longtime training partner Fabian Aichner. McIntyre has a lot to prove going into his cage match with the Ring General but he proved he has enough to deal with Aichner now. The Italian put up a serious fight but McIntyre was up for it, catching him with a massive Claymore to win. WALTER came down after the match and the two couldn’t be separated. They rained shots down on each other in one final clash before their blockbuster title match at Winterfest!

Charlotte Flair is going to face Kacy Catanzaro for the World Title at Winterfest and she gets one final test against Priscilla Kelly here. Flair has demonstrated the dreaded Figure 8 submission is as dangerous now as it has ever been and that continues to be the case. Flair used it to force the tap from Kelly. Catanzaro was out for a confrontation with her challenger and, once again, the two combatants could barely be separated. It took half a dozen GAW personnel to get in between them which means we’ll have ourselves an incredible title match at Winterfest.

After the match Sonya Deville announced that, while she will begrudgingly accept Ember Moon’s challenge at Winterfest, the champ will use her influence to make it the second-ever MMA Rules match with the US Title on the line.

Back in the ring, former IWGP Junior Heavyweight champ Taiji Ishimori awaits his opponent in the final Challenger Briefcase Ladder Match qualifier. But he’s met by two men: Connor McGregor and Olympic bronze medalist Anthony Ogogo. It’s the first appearance of the new Proper 12 Locker Room and they had a third man to enter the qualifier. Young gun Wheeler Yuta came out repping the Proper 12 colors in one of the most shocking debuts we’ve seen this season. Yuta then made good on the Proper 12’s confidence by submitting Ishimori and punching his ticket to Winterfest. What could be next for the Proper 12 Locker Room?

In the main event, Johnny Gargano gets one final tune-up against the Black and Gold’s Kyle O’Reilly. With Bobby Fish watching on, Gargano dominated the tag team legend, submitting him with the Gargano Escape. But instead of trying to get one final cheap jump on Gargano, Adam Cole came out and shook hands with his challenger. What could be up the World champ’s sleeve? We can only find out at Winterfest!
