ABSOLUTE DOMINATION IN THE MAIN EVENT

It was an unreal week of superstars, terrifying specters and world champions, this week sees some GAW legends return to action. But we start off with an incredible appearance by the current IWJP Junior Heavyweight Champion Taiji Ishimori. The Bone Soldier is Bandido’s mystery opponent in a #1 contenders match for Keith Lee’s World Championship. In front of a white-hot crowd, the two legendary juniors did battle. Bandido survived the dangerous Bloody Cross while Ishimori withstood the avalanche fallaway slam that was enough to put away Tyler Bate last week. Finally, Bandido was able to lock on a vicious bow and arrow stretch to force the tapout. After the victory, Lee himself strode down to the ring to shake Bandido’s hand in a show of respect.

The former champs just keep on coming as two sets of former tag champions face off. The Guerillas of Destiny stepped into the ring to face down War Machine who came out to the music that terrified the world for years. War Machine lived up to that hype as they blitzed GoD, finally opening up space for Rowe to use the Stormbreaker, Will Ospreay’s classic move, to get the win. Clearly the tag champs ZSJ & Ospreay took notice as they announced right after the dominant performance that they will defend their titles in the main event of Storm next Friday!

He’s one of the greatest GAW cruiserweight champions of all time, but Ricochet has struggled mightily for form since GAW moved to YouTube. But he was able to find a bit of mojo on this night when he took on the world-traveling Carmelo Hayes. Hayes is an unknown in GAW but he certainly pushed Ricochet. But the former champ was not to be denied, hitting the 630 from an absolutely absurd angle to win. After the match, he grabbed a mic and warned the House of Black he was coming for them after we saw Aleister Black abduct Robbie Eagles last week.

Former world champion Dakota Kai takes on Australian standout Toni Storm in the main event. This was one of the most one-sided main events we have ever seen as Kai just ran over Storm, hitting a huge diving double footstomp to win. After the match, US Champion Ember Moon came out to face down her next challenger. Whatever you may think about Kai, tonight she proved she is still one of the best wrestlers on the planet.

Next week, World Champion Kacy Catanzaro will be back in action as she takes on the problem Marina Shafir PLUS Will Ospreay and Zach Sabre Jr put their titles on the line for the first time!
