BASH AT THE BEACH MAIN EVENT IS SET!!

With Bash at the Beach one week away, this episode of Stormchaser is one of the most important ever! It begins with Lancelot, the man who has driven Garrett Gibson to new levels of anger through his words. The underground legend had more scathing words for the former champion as he claimed the underground revolution is pushing Gibson out. Lancelot also said his two mystery partners will help him begin the underground takeover in GAW.

The opening match was the six-man tag announced last week as Gibson teams up with Academy legends Eddie Hernandez and Yun-Son Park to take on Lancelot and his two mystery partners. Santanico came out first to join Lancelot, but it was the third man on the team that has caused the most stir. Omega Woods, one of the most intimidating and terrifying men in the business, made his long-awaited debut after over a month of cryptic messages. The six men tore into each other with no regard for anyone’s safety over 15 grueling minutes. Most notable was Omega Woods and Yun-Son Park’s interactions as Omega seemed to want to target the legend from the beginning.

But it was the end of the match that was most stunning. With a minute left, Garrett Gibson got into the ring as Park had Lancelot on the ropes. Gibson tore through both men, forcing the time limit draw. Gibson tossed Lancelot out of the ring and hit a pile driver onto the concrete, leaving Lancelot lying in a pool of his own blood. Gibson told Lancelot he no longer wanted a career in GAW if he couldn’t beat Lancelot; so he is willing to put his GAW career on the line to force Lancelot to leave.

So the match is made: Garrett Gibson vs. Lancelot, loser leaves GAW at Bash at the Beach.

Things didn’t slow down after this either! Yamamoto was in the ring next to take on the arrogant rookie Kaitlyn Dunlap. Dunlap seemed to have the advantage early but Moto snuffed it out, putting Dunlap to sleep with a Rainmaker for the win.

Next up was Moto’s fierce rival Katherine Sakamoto, who made sure to enter early to stare down Yamamoto on the ramp. The MMA Legend Killer took on another debutant, this time the California-born, GAW-homegrown Sophia Sweetness. Sophia is a terrific athlete and no doubt has a bright future, but Katherine wasn’t having it tonight. Sakamoto won the match with a Stare at the Lights.

Afterword, Katherine grabbed a microphone and began verbally tearing into both Yamamoto and Lazzara as we’ve seen her do many times. This time, though, Lazzara was not going to let her go unopposed and the champion came out confront the Stormchaser Tournament winner. The two exchanged barbs with Lazzara at one point threatening to “drop [Katherine]” on the spot. But it wasn’t long before the 19 year old phenom Yamamoto came out to meet them both. With all three women in the ring, staring daggers at each other, Jason Parker finally spoke up. From his office, Parker announced a triple threat two out of three falls match at Bash at the Beach. The winner will lead the company into a new era, the losers will not be allowed to challenge for the title again as long as the winner is champion.

We would find out later this match will be the main event of Bash at the Beach!

Next up was the tag team match to determine who will face WAR at Bash for the reactivated Tag Team Championships. Wesley&Omega had a second chance to earn their way into this match but Lieter&Dagonite were just too much for them. The tag team legend Lieter has turned Dagonite into a veritable fighting machine and the two were unstoppable tonight. After a phenomenal match, Lieter pinned Wesley with a tiger driver. As if Bash at the Beach needed more jaw-dropping matches, now we’ll get WAR vs. Lieter&Dagonite for the Tag Titles!

Our main event finally came and it was time to crown a #1 contender to Kurt Andrews’ Academy Championship. Oliver Parker made his return to the ring for the first time in months to take on Lars Nightfall after Nightfall had to endure a viscous street fight last week. Parker looked as good as ever and even though Nightfall had the size advantage, Parker showed why he is widely considered one of the best pure wrestlers in GAW. Nightfall went on the attack but Parker was too quick, catching the big man with a Trueborn to pick up the win. Kurt Andrews came out to confront his challenger. The two did not exchange words or blows, but the heat between them would have melted gold.

Bash at the Beach is shaping up to be one of the biggest and most historic events in GAW history and it all starts on Monday, April 12! It will be a two week special event divided into six parts, airing Monday, Wednesday and Friday. This is an event you can’t miss so make sure to subscribe to the YouTube channel HERE to see it!!
