FLYBOY ADRESSES THE FANS
After an insane America the Beautiful 2, new Academy Champion Flyboy was the first to greet a raucous crowd. The fans were not receptive to the new champion and they made their feelings known when Flyboy taunted the rest of the Academy. But the prayers of the Academy faithful were answered when Jason Parker confronted the new champion. In his short and sweet style, Parker told Flyboy he will have to defend against Kurt Andrews at Northern Lights.
Our first match sees WAR take on Island Nation. Both teams are coming off a loss to Wing Collectors and everyone looks to challenge the Titans after they ran from their match at America the Beautiful 2. As great as Island Nation has been, WAR was even better on this night. Vick Cassidy ran through both members of Island Nation to get WAR the win. Jason Parker announced later on that the Titans will defend their titles against WAR next week!
Backstage, Lazzara tells her young charge Sophia Sweetness that she’s arranged for a match between the two next week.
Stefford Drummond battles Lancelot and OSHA’s least favorite son proved again he is at his best when he’s facing top opponents. Unfortunately for Drummond, he could not finish the job after a hard fought battle against the underground legend. Lancelot put Drummond away with the EMP.
Backstage Ballesca Pierce promised to earn a rematch with Katherine Sakamoto and blamed herself for not being ready for Kristin Sakamoto at America the Beautiful 2.
Derrick Cole dominated Ulysses Sky once again to go up 3-0 in their best of 7 series. In the time it took you to read that sentence, Cole hit the Cole Cut and won the third match in the series.
Backstage, Jackel speaks for the first time since taking La Tortuga Roja’s mask. He taunted Roja once again as has become tradition for him, but then Jackel claimed he is beginning a lucha legacy all his own. Only time will tell how serious he is about that…
In our main event, MidNight defends the RAW Title for the seventh time in four months, this time against Seth Woods. The two had a hellacious fight but MidNight proved too much for the underground veteran, hitting a massive splash to pick up the victory and yet another successful title defense.
