IT JUST SWINGS DIFFERENT

Our show begins with the first of what could be seven matches between Derrick Cole and Ulysses Sky. Judging by this contest, this best of 7 could be a wild ride. Within a minute, Cole dropped Sky with the Cole Cut. Sky kicked out. Then Cole blasted him with a Heisman Kick. Sky kicked out. Sky hit the Death Valley Driver. Cole kicked out. After a back and forth affair, Cole rolled away from the Sky Elbow and hit him with a second Heisman kick to win. Cole goes up 1-0.

Yun-Son Park returns to the ring to face the always dangerous Stefford Drummond. As he often does, Drummond put up a hell of a fight in the biggest matches. But just like Eddie Hernandez, Yun-Son Park finally put Drummond away in the end with a devastating rope-trapped neck breaker combination. After the match, Park addressed the crowd. He explained his story coming to America and how the first America the Beautiful event changed his life. It’s a great speech you should go out of your way to watch. In the end, Park officially challenged Omega Woods to a match at America the Beautiful 2.

Backstage, Kurt Andrews says he’s ready to go to war with Flyboy but he still doesn’t trust the Australian.

MidNight puts his RAW Title on the line for the sixth time in three months against tag team specialist Isaiah Hannibal. Hannibal is as dangerous in the singles arena as he is as part of a team, but that doesn’t mean he can compete with MidNight. For as good a fight as Hannibal offered, it wasn’t enough. MidNight dropped the challenger with a vicious Yankee Destroyer. This successful defense gives MidNight an average of one RAW Title defense every 15 days, an unreal clip.

Backstage, Lancelot addresses Mexican Shia. The underground legend warns Shia once again to shape up and this sounds like a warning Shia should take seriously.

Our main event sees Academy Women’s Championship #1 contender Ballesca Pierce fighting the champ’s sister Kristin Sakamoto. Kristin was obviously prepared for Ballesca’s devastating Neck Piercer, turning Ballesca aside when she tried the move. But no one saw the insane strength of Pierce up until now. When she least expected it, Kristin found herself hoisted up in the air and swung around by her ankles for what felt like years. Finally, Ballesca let her go with the strong style master possibly unconscious from the force. Pierce pinned her and sent a big-time message to the champ.

Next week, Jackel will return to action against Lars Nightfall in the main event!
